Every generation of UConn Formula SAE, from today's CT-17 back to where it all began.
Each car is one full year of design, manufacturing, and racing. Here is the lineage, newest first.
CT-17 Generation
The current generation. Two cars built in parallel, the CT-17 IC placed 4th overall and the CT-17 EV placed 5th overall. The team's strongest season yet, becoming the nation's #1 two-car program.
CT-16 Generation
Competed with CT-17 IC placing 29th after an endurance DNF, but taking 14th overall and winning efficiency with our debut EV.
CT-15 Generation
Competed with the CT-15 taking 4th overall at Michigan IC Competition
CT-14 Generation
Competed with the CT-14 placing 1st in acceleration and 11th overall at Michigan IC Competition
CT-13 Generation
Competed with the CT-13 debuting the first ever Aero package. Placed 10th overall at Michigan IC Competition.
CT-12 Generation
Competed with the CT-12, returning to competition after Covid, placing 5th overall out of 55 teams.
CT-11 Generation
Unfortunately due to Covid there was no competition.
CT-9 Generation
Competed with the CT-9, placing 11th overall at Michigan IC Competition.
CT-8 Generation
Competed with the CT-8, placing 13th overall at Michigan IC Competition.
CT-7 Generation
Competed with the CT-7, placing 18th overall at Michigan IC Competition.
CT-6 Generation
Competed with the CT-6, placing 26th overall at Michigan IC Competition.
CT-5 Generation
Competed with the CT-5, placing 19th overall at Michigan IC Competition.
CT-4 Generation
Competed with the CT-4, placing 20th overall at Michigan IC Competition.
CT-3 Generation
Competed with the CT-3, placing 41st overall at Michigan IC Competition.
CT-2 Generation
Competed with the CT-2, placing 75th overall at Michigan IC Competition.
CT-1 Generation
Competed with the CT-1, placing 63rd overall at Michigan IC Competition.
